WHAT TO DO

A short description of activities and places to see on your holiday.

Whether you like biking, walking or driving a car, most of the trips are short in distance. We highly recommend to rent a sailboat or speed boat and visit the beautiful beaches in the vicinity of Jelsa, or on the neighbouring island of Brac. On the island of Hvar you can find many interesting places to discover, such as wonderful beaches, hidden gems of nature and great restaurants. Close to Jelsa you will find the pretty sandy beaches of Mina and Grebisce. Grebisce is also great place to have a coffee or to have lunch on the beach. Near Vrboska you can take a visit to Soline where you have many secluded small beaches which are perfect to spend all day.

In the centre of Jelsa you will find tourist boats to take you on a day trip to the beautiful town of Bol on the island of Brac. You can also take a tour bus to the city of Starigrad or Hvar town. Hvar is famous for its food and wines. There are plenty of restaurants and wineries where you can taste typical local dishes and excellent local wines. These are our restaurant tips: Restaurant Luka in Vrboska, Me and Mrs Jones in Jelsa, Konoba Nono in Jelsa, Restaurant Tamaris in Sveta Nedjelja. If you are passing through Starigrad there are plenty of small cosy restaurants. The most famous wineries are Tomic in Jelsa and Plenkovic in Sveta Nedjelja.
